this morning before waking up i had one last dream

not a lot going on in it, but near the end a girl i know gave me a small round clear pill

i ask was it was

and she replied

"its called taliman, it helps you remember"

then i wake up

so curious of this word, taliman/talimon or whatever i start looking it up

it wasnt pronounced the obvious talisman

all i found was taliman, which is a last name

"hey mr taliman tali me banana..."

but

an anagram for taliman is "matinal"

its a word used usually with insects and some plants for those that are active in the morning

its etymological origin means "morning"

the time when i had this dream right before waking up

last nights dream took place on the merge of a great ancient battle about to occur
one of the warriors out of preparation cut out his own eyes
and then buried himself in a hole so that they would grow back as new

but it ended with a guy walking up to me
with his hands spread torso width apart
and as he spoke the numerals appeared one at a time between them

I had a dream where I saw the true story of the bible
It was that jesus and the devil were really lovers (the devil of course took female form)
it could not be let known because of jesus’ commitment to mary
so the devil was banished and locked into hell by god
once sent into hell, the devil took the form of a black star

today during my hungover nap, I dreamt that the land across from my grandparents house that we used to farm was sold to the government
it became fenced off and large equipment working the fields
I found a cat that they had been experimenting on
his name was Ralph
his face was covered by this funnel type mask and was unable to see
at the end of the funnel was some sort of plugin
we became really good friends and I was curious of his blindness and would ask him to tell me what he saw
we stole one of their vehicles and would drive up and down the dirt roads
being it was a marked vehicle we knew that we were safe
we got back to the edge of the field and found a computer kiosk
this was when I really began to wonder and worry about ralphs blindness
so I started checking out his mask and discovered that due to the experimental operations his loss of sight was permanent
about this time it seems as if Ralph was on some form of medication
and that they began to wear off
he became very afraid and ran away from me
even when I called his name

space is a created model of our consciousness/minds. The growth rate of space is determined by the enhancement of the workings of the mind.
question:
does mans attempt to further understand/explore the depths of space increase this?

does mans ability to reach deeper and further into space give example of our decelerated increase of mind/conscious growth/understanding?

so I was thinking in the shower just earlier about how modern era is in the shift into a new age. The age of aquarius. An age that sheds old religions into a dawn of no deities. Our new modern myth is that of space. Like all myths form, new tales and stories must begin. This is where our creations of UFOs have happened. Like terence mckenna references the creation of a Christ as a revolt of Roman philosophy/lifestyle, the creation of UFOs are a rebellion of modern science. What better way to spark off the heroes journey of our new myth than the landing on the moon? There is much speculation about the truth of this occurrence. Could this be because it was a creation of ourselves? Is this why it seems so fallible? Will Neil Armstrong & co. be heroes in the first chapter of this modern tale?

recent dream involved viewing a bridge which stretched out over a river/bay collapsing. On it were several vehicles and people that would fall one by one. I felt as if this were the northwest area near seattle region. Visually it was seen as if on a television screen. I watched the people/cars fall to their deaths and float out to the ocean.

it is co-hosted by the friendly fellows of Str8 Up Magazine
the artist reception is from 6-9pm on that Friday

just like the ones in the Alien films
it wrapped its tentacles around me then shot its inner mouth down my throat
I died and went to heaven
heaven was a tube float at a water park

last night I had a dream very house of leaves inspired
this probably relates to my progress in the work of the next book which began late last night into today
being early on I felt a minor similarity in layout and concept of the idea of a “monster” in these two books, I embraced danielewski’s novel
I found it to be an inspiration that I had discovered after the actual inspiration already took place
yet back to this dream
the house which I live in was now located in a major urban area, and compressed into an apartment styled building
when walking into the bathroom I discovered a hallway had formed which lead into the direction of the living room
this was odd being the hallway was longer than the distance to the living room actually was
near the end of this hallway was a larger room, much older in age than the rest of the house
concrete walls, reminding me of old subway structure
directly ahead was a boarded up door
I would go into the living room to see if there was any sign of this doorway
and each time I returned the hallway increased in length
it got to the point where I felt it changing while I was there
the last time I went to leave the bathroom pillared walkways were formed between the bathroom hall and the hallway to the unknown room
I decided to go into the room to investigate further, eventually removing boards to see inside this doorway
now I don’t exactly remember what happened, but I do know an immense fear was formed and I fled the bathroom out of terror from this “monster” which was on the other side
somewhere along the lines, there was a disruption in the area and people were running around crazy
most likely out of this fear I had released
I stole a cop car, later to find out it had no brakes
after driving it out of the city at full speed and finally getting it to stop, I caught a ride on a boat back into the city
now the city had become built on a large mass of water
the walkway I took from the port onto the main section of foundation was a loose wobbly strand of rubber, similar to a rubberband
and here is where I woke up

a few things have been noticed over the recent months of writing
mood and approach is one

a few recent stand out due to length and content
I do not want to refer to these as short stories…maybe short short stories
but I can not think of anything to name them nor do I wish to
I am unsure if these will make it into the book, they will probably just end up as future reference
or possibly small sparks
but I felt a need to at least share
these are in their original form….so expect several grammatical errors (which may stay or be corrected if decided to keep)
also expect the inability to read and distinguish parts

the upcoming book has started to shape in layout/format ideas
I don’t really want to give much away
but
I would just like to let it be known that progress is being made
and I apologize for not adding any of the content up here yet
for those who attend any of the occasional readings, then you have a chance to hear some of the new stuff
but for the most part its waiting in the dark (or spread out all over my floor…)
ill continue to throw up some drawings and doodles as well as photographs for the time being
but yes…the book is taking form…and the layout seems to be coming into its rightful place
this is good news and bad
bad: it may take a little longer due to the now more increased amount of content
good: more content

so we shall see

in other news…I declined a job opportunity which I would be making almost 3 times the amount I am used to now, for the sake of art and my own self

the idea behind the concept of the word “monster” has been a dominant theme in my mind the last 2 months. It is only a lovely bit of irony that this novel, which has been placed into my hands on a whim, deals with the same word. Those interested in the idea of “coincidences” and synchronicity (like myself) eat this shit up. More on this topic will come in the future.

first attempt at this, lets see how long it lasts

entry #1…haven’t accomplished much in days. Mainly due to the fact of the novel House of Leaves. Quite an interesting ride its taking me on. Since moving into this much larger house I have been dealing with becoming accustomed to size and emptiness. Often times resulting in creating metaphorical fears, which I have a feeling is going on in this book. I am not quite halfway. About a month ago when half asleep I wrote a jotting dealing with creatures symbolic of my dreams taking shape in physical form that scurry around the downstairs floor. They are similar to the monster off the movie Critters. That along with the help of this book is making late nights more interesting.

Dealing more on a work related issue. I have taken up a project in designing an album layout for the hip-hop outfit Flowtation Addvice. Anyone interested in the unconventional Anticon movement might want to check them out.

Those interested in what I am doing off the website will know that I already have one book printed and available, but I have began work on a second. This is going to be almost completely all new material and a different style and approach. Title has already been assigned, I’ll let that out when its taken shape more so.
